This week Jared finally finished hand sanding these enormous Guatemalan jadeite reproductions, which are based on a smaller pair of square Mayan ear flares in our antiquities collection. These pieces were commissioned by a customer from Arizona, USA and we can’t wait to see them in his ears!

The hands in this photograph have produced some of the most elaborate and skillful modern jade body jewelry worn today. If you have an interest in hand carved jade body adornments, send us an email at support@onetribe.nu - we would be delighted to produce jade artwork for you.

We are ready to show a sneak peek of our new hand cut copper and glass enamel flowers, and we’ve just finished up a few pairs to take to the Cape Fear Tattoo Festival in North Carolina this weekend. This pair is 1” (25.4mm) and features a double layer white 12 petal flower with a 6mm prong set amazonite cabochon. Stop by the tattoo fest for a look, and keep an eye on our website for forthcoming pieces available for purchase.
In our quest to explore a wide variety of traditional jewelry making techniques, we have developed these simple plugs with a burst of color in a unique concave surface. Completely the opposite of your usual domed cabochon inlay, we love the bright pop of color created with this ancient glass firing technique. Coming soon!
